Your Account & Team Seats
You have exactly one Appsanic account. Your projects, conversations, connectors, brand kits, assets, plan, credits, and storage all live in it.
One account, one plan
Your account is created when you sign up. There is nothing to switch between and no separate personal or team mode - the dashboard lives at /dashboard, and every action you take runs in your one account.
That account carries a single plan, at most one subscription, one monthly-credit pool, and one top-up pool. Upgrading from Free to Pro, or Pro to Business, changes that same account. It never creates a second one.
What a seat is
Free and Pro are solo plans. They include no seats: you are the only person who can sign in.
Business adds seats. A seat is a company-owned login that belongs to your account. It is not that person's own Appsanic account:
- It has no projects, credits, or storage of its own - everything happens in your account.
- It can never be turned into a Free or Pro account.
- Everything a seat builds stays in your account, including after they leave.
Seats are full builders. They can create projects, run AI builds, and use brand kits. Only you, the owner, can manage billing, seats, and connector credentials.
How many seats you get
Seats come with your Business credit tier:
| Business credit tier | Seats |
|---|---|
| 200 - 1,200 | 5 |
| 2,000 - 5,000 | 10 |
| 7,500 - 10,000 | 20 |
Moving up a tier raises your seat count. Free and Pro include none.
Creating a seat
Go to Dashboard → Account → Team seats and enter the person's email address.
- You enter the email. That's the whole thing you do.
- Appsanic emails that person an activation link.
- They click it and set their own password.
There is no invitation to accept or decline, and no pending state to chase. You never set, see, or reset that password - it is theirs from the start.
The address has to be new to Appsanic. A seat is a login Appsanic creates for your account, so it cannot reuse an address that already has an Appsanic account of its own — including one someone signed up with and never used. If seat creation tells you the address may already be in use, pick a different one; a work address usually works.
This is deliberate. Your teammate's personal Appsanic account is theirs, and a company-owned seat is yours; keeping them as separate logins means neither can quietly swallow the other.
Removing a seat
Open Account → Team seats and choose Remove. This is deliberate and permanent:
- Any jobs that login is running are cancelled.
- The login is disabled for good. That person cannot sign in again.
- Everything they built - projects, files, conversations - stays in your account.
- The seat is freed, so you can create a new one for someone else.
Use removal when someone has genuinely left. If you are only pausing, there is nothing to do; a seat costs nothing extra inside your tier.
What happens if Business ends
If your account leaves Business by any route - you cancel, you downgrade to Pro or Free, or a failed payment runs out its grace period - your seats are suspended, not deleted.
- Those people can no longer sign in. They see a screen explaining why.
- Every project, file, and conversation they touched is retained in your account.
- If the account returns to Business, the seats resume automatically. Same passwords, no re-setup, nothing to create again.
That is the difference between a lapse and a removal: a lapse is reversible and reverses itself, while Remove is permanent.
Deleting your account
Deleting your Appsanic account deletes its seat logins with it. Export anything you want to keep first - see Deleting Your Account.
