Switch between two models anytime. Fast is the default - quick, affordable, built for everyday edits and daily iteration. Pro thinks longer and plans deeper for ambitious features and large codebases. Every paid plan includes both.
Quick, affordable, reliable. The default model for everyday builds and routine edits.
The numbers below come from real builds we ran on the live system - not estimates. Three runs per scenario, every cost captured. Plan from these, watch the live numbers in the dashboard.
Each row is something we actually built and measured. Pro costs more because it thinks longer and gets it right in fewer tries - handy for tricky features.
| What you're building | Example | On Fast | On Pro |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tiny tweak | A one-line text change, swap a colour, or a single-screen 'Hello world'. | 2–4 cr |
The questions buyers ask before pulling out a card.
Yes. The Free plan lets you explore project templates and the code editor with no card required. It's designed for kicking the tyres, reading how the agent builds, and previewing on your phone. When you're ready to run your own AI prompts and launch real apps, upgrade to Pro from $25/mo.
Each account has its own shared credit wallet. Prompts spend the active account's credits based on build size and model; tiny Fast tweaks are 2 to 4 credits, while larger builds cost more. Monthly credits reset with that account's billing period. Credits never move between accounts, and only the account owner can buy top-ups.
Choose a plan for the account you're using. Free is for exploring, Pro starts at $25 a month for 200 credits and 10 GB, and Business starts at $50 for 200 credits and 20 GB. Upgrading Pro to Business converts that same account and wallet into a collaborative account; it does not create a second subscription or personal credit balance. Paid price increases apply after a prorated charge; decreases apply at renewal.
Fast is the default: quick, affordable, great for everyday edits and simple builds. Pro thinks longer, plans deeper, and handles complex features or large codebases with higher code quality. Both models are included on every paid plan; switch between them in any conversation.
Yes. The account owner can buy a pack for the active paid account. Those credits go only into that account's top-up wallet, never expire at renewal or cancellation, and cannot be transferred to another account. They remain stored on Free and become spendable again when an eligible paid plan is active.
Yes. The account owner can cancel that account's subscription. Paid access continues through the end of the period, then the same account moves to Free. Unused monthly credits expire at that boundary; its separate top-up wallet remains attached to the account.
We don't refund for change of mind or unused portions of a billing period. We do refund duplicate charges, unauthorised charges, and extended outages we caused. Australian Consumer Law rights are preserved and can't be excluded. See our Refund Policy for the full detail.
No. The price on the pricing page is the amount charged, in US dollars, with no tax added at checkout. Your Stripe invoice shows that same amount and is available from Account billing. You remain responsible for any tax obligations in your own jurisdiction, and if we ever become required to collect tax where you are, it will be shown at checkout before you confirm.
Annual billing is on the roadmap and not yet generally available. If you're launching multiple apps or need volume credits ahead of the annual rollout, email contact@appsanic.com and we'll get back to you with options.
The agent pauses the next prompt that would push the active account below zero. Its owner can buy a top-up for that account, or members can wait for its monthly reset. Appsanic never draws credits from another account or creates a purchase automatically.
Deeper planning, higher code quality, longer horizons. Reach for Pro when the feature is ambitious or the codebase is large.
| 25 cr |
| Small feature | A counter with + / − buttons, a single-screen form, or a styled card list. | 3 cr | 20 cr |
| Mid-size feature | A 2-screen flow with navigation and saved data (e.g. a tip calculator with a results screen). | 9–18 cr | 39–44 cr |
| Full app skeleton | A 4-feature app with navigation, persistence and detail screens (e.g. a habit tracker). | 24–28 cr | 61–66 cr |
Pro on Mid-size and Full app uses a fixed thinking budget - costs barely move run to run. Fast varies a bit (you'll see the range above) because shorter thinking means more retries on harder prompts.
Plan Mode runs before any build so you can sanity-check the approach before the agent writes a single line of code.
| Helper | What it does | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Plan Mode | A preview of what the agent is about to build, before it writes a single line of code. Approve, tweak, or cancel. | 1 cr |
Counts assume you only run that one size. Most months you'll mix - see the example months below for a realistic feel.
| Credits / month | Pro / Business price | Small features (Fast / Pro) | Mid-size features (Fast / Pro) | Full apps (Fast / Pro) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 200 | $25 / $50 | 66 / 10 | 22 / 5 | 8 / 3 |
| 800 | $100 / $200 | 266 / 40 | 88 / 20 | 33 / 13 |
| 2,000 | $250 / $500 | 666 / 100 | 222 / 51 | 83 / 32 |
| 5,000 | $625 / $1,250 | 1,666 / 250 | 555 / 128 | 208 / 81 |
| 10,000 | $1,250 / $2,500 | 3,333 / 500 | 1,111 / 256 | 416 / 163 |
Numbers use the typical cost per size. Heavier prompts trend toward the high end of each range.
These profiles bracket what most users land on. Swap items in or out to match your own pattern.
Fits comfortably on Pro 200 cr ($25/mo) with room to spare for a couple of bigger sessions.
Lands inside Pro 800 cr ($100/mo) with a buffer for unplanned work. Step up to Pro 2,000 cr ($250/mo) if you're launching multiple features a week.
Real costs depend on the prompt and how much of the project the agent needs to read. The dashboard shows every charge in real time, and Plan Mode tells you the expected cost before the agent starts building.
