Build with Sanic AI
Write a useful request, choose a model, and follow how changes reach your app.
What it needs
Sanic AI is included with the paid plans: Pro brings the Lite and Core models, Premium and Business every model. Each request spends credits from your plan's monthly allowance. Hosted Sanic AI is being switched on in stages and carries a Coming soon badge until then.
Open it from the rail, or press Ctrl or Cmd + K from anywhere in the editor.
Write a useful request
Describe the outcome and anything that should stay as it is. Your current page and selection travel with the request, so you can point at the part you mean: select a component, choose Edit with AI in its toolbar, and describe the change.
For example: Add an onboarding screen with a heading, three benefits and a button that opens Home. Use my theme and keep the spacing generous.
Choose a model and an effort
Lite is for small, economical changes; Core, the default, for everyday building; Pro for complex work across many screens, code and data. Each has three effort levels, Quick, Balanced and Thorough, which control how much reasoning the model spends.
A smaller request on a lighter model costs fewer credits. One credit is one cent of model usage, metered on what the model reads and writes.
Follow the work
A build plan lists each step and ticks it off as it lands. Behind the scenes every change is validated against the project's rules and compiled before it reaches your app; a change that fails is refused whole. With the design review setting on, Sanic AI also looks over the finished screens.
Keep editing while it works. If your edits overlap its proposal, the proposal waits for your decision. Stop cancels the running request, and Undo takes an applied change back in one step.
Build plan and Design review are optional settings in Sanic AI.
What it can see, and what it cannot
Sanic AI reads your project's files and component definitions, and the status and capabilities of connected services. It never sees the keys you entered, and it does not read the rows in your database. If a request needs a service you have not connected, it asks you to connect it in Connectors first.
