Lucent is a local-first budgeting app built with Sanic UI. Three months of sample transactions ship with the app, with money kept as exact integer cents. Home shows your balance, monthly income and spending and budget pace, Activity lists transactions by day with search and category filters, Budgets set per-category limits with a six-month chart, and Goals track savings with contributions and target dates. Copy a JSON backup from Settings at any time. Everything stays on the device.

What you can do

Lucent is a clear, local-first budgeting app. Three months of realistic sample transactions ship with the app, with money stored as exact integer cents and formatted through one shared currency helper. Home shows your balance, this month's income and spending, budget pace and recent activity; Activity lists transactions grouped by day with month navigation, search and category filters; Budgets set per-category monthly limits with progress bars and a six-month spending chart; and Goals track savings targets with contributions, target dates and progress rings. A validated editor adds and edits spending or income, and Settings copy a JSON backup to the clipboard.
