Quill is a local-first notes app built with Sanic UI. Capture a note in seconds, pin the ones that matter, sort them into folders you name, and find anything again with instant search and recent-search shortcuts. Every note lives on the device in a persisted store, so the app opens straight into your notes with no account, backend or setup, and ships with sample notes you can restore at any time.

What you can do

Quill is a calm, local-first notes app that opens straight into your notes. Write a note with a title and body, pin the ones that matter so they float to the top, and sort everything into folders you create, rename and delete. Search finds matches across titles and bodies instantly and remembers your recent searches. The app ships with a handful of realistic sample notes so it feels alive on first launch, and Settings lets you choose the sort order, pick a default folder for new notes and restore the samples after a clear-out. Nothing leaves the device: every note lives in a persisted store with no account, backend or setup.
