Relay is a local-first messaging app built with Sanic UI. Eight seeded conversations with realistic contacts ship with the app, sorted by the latest message with unread badges and pinned chats on top. Read a thread and send messages, react, and mute, pin or delete chats. Contacts have their own searchable tab, and Settings hold your display name, a notification sound toggle and a restore of the sample chats. Everything lives on the device with no account, backend or setup.

What you can do

Relay is a clean, local-first messaging app that feels alive the moment it opens: eight seeded conversations with realistic contacts live on the device, sorted by the latest message with unread badges and pinned chats on top. Open a conversation to read the thread and send messages, react to a message, and mute, pin or delete a chat. Contacts have their own tab with search and a detail screen that starts a new chat. Settings hold your display name, a notification sound toggle and a guarded restore of the sample chats. Nothing leaves the phone: every contact, conversation and message lives in a persisted store with no account, backend or network.
