Kindle is a local-first dating app built with Sanic UI. Seeded profiles with bios, interests and distances ship with the app: like or pass through Discover, undo a pass, and land a match when the profile likes you back. Matches gather on their own tab, every match opens a chat you can message in, and your profile holds your name, bio, interests and discovery preferences with a guarded restore of the sample profiles. Everything lives on the device with no account, backend or setup.

What you can do

Kindle is a warm, local-first dating app that works from the first open. Seeded profiles with names, ages, bios, interests and distances live on the device, and Discover shows them one at a time so you can like or pass, with an undo for the last pass. When a profile likes you back it becomes a match with a new-match badge, and every match opens a chat you can message in. Your own profile holds your name, bio and interests, plus discovery preferences for age range and distance, and a guarded restore of the sample profiles. Nothing leaves the phone: profiles, decisions, matches and messages all live in a persisted store with no account, backend or setup.

A granular Zustand store owns decision, match, message and profile actions; AsyncStorage rehydrates the snapshot on launch.
Sample profiles are seeded once on first launch and can be restored from Profile after confirmation.
No remote database, server function, environment variable or API key is required.
