Gather is a local-first events app built with Sanic UI. Seeded events across music, tech, food, sports and arts ship with the app: search and filter Explore, open an event for the details, mark yourself going or interested, view a ticket and add it to your calendar. Create your own events, keep upcoming and past events under My events, and manage your name and interests on Profile with a guarded restore of the sample events. Everything lives on the device with no account, backend or setup.

What you can do

Gather is a fresh, local-first events app that feels populated from the first open. Seeded events across music, tech, food, sports and arts live on the device with hosts, venues, dates, capacities and going and interested counts. Explore searches events and venues and filters by category, an event opens into its details where you can mark yourself going or interested, view your ticket and add the date to your calendar, and Create publishes your own event through a validated form. My events keeps upcoming and past events apart, and Profile holds your name and interests with a guarded restore of the sample events. Nothing leaves the phone: events, RSVPs and tickets all live in a persisted store with no account, backend or setup.

No remote database, server function, environment variable or API key is required.
