Account and security
Sign up, sign in, reset your password, manage or delete your account, and see how Appsanic protects your sign-in.

Create an account
- On the sign-up page, enter your Email address and a Password of at least 12 characters, then choose Create account.
- Enter the Verification code from the latest email, 6 to 10 digits, and choose Verify email.
- No email? Check your spam folder, or choose Resend email once the short wait is over. Change email corrects a mistyped address.
An account works only once its email address is verified. The meter under the password tracks the minimum length until it says the requirement is met; it doesn't rate strength, so choose a memorable phrase you haven't used elsewhere.
Enter your Email address and Password and choose Sign in. To skip the password, choose Email me a sign-in link instead, then Send sign-in link. Open the link in the email and choose Continue securely.
A sign-in link works only for an account that already exists; it never creates one. If your address isn't verified yet, the page asks you to verify it first and offers Send verification code.
Forgot or reset your password
- On the sign-in page, choose Forgot password?, enter your email address and choose Send reset link. The reply is the same whether or not an account uses that address.
- Open the link in the email and choose Continue securely. The reset it opens lasts at most 15 minutes and can only set a new password.
- Enter a New password, repeat it in Confirm new password and choose Save new password.
- Saving signs out every session, so continue with Sign in with your new password.
If the link has expired, choose Request a new reset link.
Sessions and signing out
Choose Sign out in the profile menu at the top right of the dashboard, or under Your session in My account. Appsanic saves your open project before it signs you out. If a save fails, you stay signed in with your work in place.
Signing out ends the session at the sign-in service as well as in your browser. Changing your password signs out your other devices, and resetting it signs out every session.
Your account settings
Open My account from the dashboard's sidebar or the profile menu.
- Account ID
- Shown under your email address. Copy ID copies it.
- Appearance
- Dark appearance switches the dashboard and editor, and is remembered on this device. Your app's own colours stay as they are.
- Your session
- Sign out ends the session in this browser.
- Password
- Enter your Current password, a New password of at least 12 characters and the same again in Confirm new password, then choose Update password. Your other devices are signed out.
- Email address
- Enter a New email address and choose Send confirmation. The change takes effect once you confirm it from both your current inbox and the new one; until then you sign in with your current address.
- Your data
- Export account index downloads a list of your projects and assets. It doesn't hold complete projects or original files: export projects from Projects and download files from Assets, as Projects and templates explains.
- Delete account
- Closes your account for good, as described below.
Delete your account
- Cancel any subscription in Plan & billing (Plans, credits and storage shows how). The account can be deleted once no plan is active and no payment is pending.
- Export what you want to keep: projects from Projects and files from Assets.
- In My account, choose Delete account. Type your email address and choose Permanently delete account. Keep account cancels.
You are signed out, and the account can't be opened again. Sanic AI work is cancelled, then your projects, code, conversations, files, saved connections and sign-in are erased. Erasure completes once any outstanding charges are settled, and files with active upload links can take a few hours to remove.
Billing records and usage totals are kept for accounting and legal reasons, without access to your account.
How your account is protected
- Passwords go through Appsanic's server to the sign-in service, and Appsanic never stores them.
- Your session is kept in cookies that scripts on the page can't read, sent only over HTTPS.
- Email links act only when you press Continue securely, so an email scanner that opens one can't use it.
- Account and project changes are accepted only from Appsanic's own pages, and sign-in attempts and emails are rate limited for each address.
- Your account is personal on every plan, with no sharing or team access, and the server checks that you own a project on every request.
- You pay on the payment provider's own checkout page, so your card details never reach Appsanic.
Security covers your projects, your app's code, connectors and Sanic AI in more detail.
